bok cHoy
A mild leafy green, bok choy is a hardy type of Chinese cabbage that belongs to the cruciferous family of vegetables. It has a crisp white stalk with green leafy ends.
buNa-shimeji mushroos (bunapi mushrooms)
Light in flavor, these mushrooms grow in clusters with white stems with small tight caps. Raw mushrooms are slightly bitter, so it's best that these mushrooms are cooked. They are wonderful sautéed or added in soups and stews.
green Papaya
An immature and unripened papaya with a white flesh. Like a cucumber, it is very mild in flavor and has a crunchy texture, unlike a soft ripened orange papaya. Can be found in Southeast Asian grocery stores.
